Our Mission Statement

William and Emmeline Nelson

There is a vast number of parents who are unable to keep their children in school. Our aim is to support those families so that they are able to provide the basic needs for their children.

For the past eighteen years we have been helping in the field of education, clothing, food, transportation and shelter. In so doing we are also able to supply spiritual encouragement to those who need it.

All funds received by “I Promised God Ministries” have been and will be channeled toward those underprivileged who are struggling financially. By God’s abiding grace we are hoping that IPGM Ministries will help them build a solid foundation and a sustainable future for themselves and their families.

Presently, we have also been supporting an orphanage in Haiti. We are so grateful for those who have gone beyond the call of duty to support this ministry. Some of them have made several trips to this impoverished country to physically attend to the needs of these dear ones. However, we do need more sponsors for our Haiti mission projects.

With a onetime or monthly donations, you can assist in this endeavor. Over the past year, the amount of individuals we have been assisting has tripled. Yet, what we have been doing there represents just a drop of rain in a huge lake.

There are a whole lot more desperate requests that we are not able to honor. Therefore, we are appealing to individuals who are interested in partnering with us in this ministry to please contact us.

As Jesus' children we will surely be delighted to hear these words from Him... "And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me."

Matthew 25:40 (NKJV)

TRackable

Where the money goes

During the past five years we have been in partnership with the Philadelphia Foundation of Haiti who has been assisting several young people and their families so that they have been able to send their children to school and feed them.

Through that foundation, We have also been able to help reopen a Seventh-day Adventist school that had been closed for at least two years. In that town, where most children are underprivileged, they couldn’t afford to go to school. Many of them are non-Adventist. IPGM has also been providing the monthly salary of $50 for each of the seven teachers.
