Some time down the road we will enlighten you with more information concerning the intriguing stories of a set of 2 sisters and another set of 3 sisters. I am happy to note that all five of those young ladies though from different denominations are devoted christians. We are so grateful that God has been using IPGM Ministries to be a blessing to these underprivileged families; not counting the Orphanage, that has fallen on the rough side of life.
Orphanage: “Aid To The Children Of Haiti” New Home.
There are no doors or windows in the building above nevertheless, it has now become the permanent residence for 20 children and 4 guardians.
Philadelphia Foundation-Haiti: Dear faithful friends of IPGM Ministries,
please meet Mr. Benson, a teacher and former volunteer youth director of the Haitian Seventh-day Adventist Conference. The massive earth which killed hundreds of thousands ten years ago also caused many to lose their jobs. Not used to sitting idle, he did odd jobs here and there. Five years ago he saw the urgent need of the children in his community and started the Philadelphia Foundation. Now he with few friends helps over 40 castaway children. They help them with their homework; also teaching them different skills; including how to make soap. For the past two years, IPGM has been one of the sponsors… *(4)
Recently one of our students, we’ll just call her (miss. M) told us that the professor sent several students home because they were unable to pay their $15-US per month tuition. We were saddened by the news so we prayed to Jesus and were impressed to help 5 of those students. With (miss. M)’s help we located those students. Thank God, IPGM Ministries is providing monthly school fees. They have returned to continue their studies. (5). We have great news concerning a dear sister picture above, who had not eaten for about five days.
She had no hope and accepted the idea that was going to die. IPGM Ministries intervened and glory to God she is now on her way to recovery… (6). This is about a sick widow and her three sons. She has been suffering from the same disease which took her husband’s life. She was also left with 3 hungry young sons to care for. Her situation was brought to IPGM who took immediate steps in providing assistance to her… (7). In a strange turn of faith; two sisters who lived in two different cities in Haiti, had almost the identical experience. They were both left with 3 younger siblings to care for with no means of doing so. One of these young ladies, her mother, had passed away suddenly. The other is (M) in story 3. (M)’s mother just abandoned her four children to live with her boyfriend! Yes, with God’s guidance, IPGM has also taken on their responsibilities: even providing shelter and schooling. There are other stories which find me each day with moist eyes but we ran out of space…
*Not so long ago we received news that a government run orphanage with 70 plus children had been left abandoned: one died from starvation. IPGM is trying to see if we can provide at least one meal per day in order that the rest do not die from starvation…
*Before we take our leave though, we just pause again to say thank you for supporting this worthy cause with your continued prayers and your donations.
Matthew 25:45. “Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.”
God loves those who give ungrudgingly to help feed and clothe the poor and the outcast living in this world of ours. We thank Him for giving us this marvelous opportunity to serve Him in this manner.
The year 2021 was indeed IPGM most eventful one. The number of clients we had in 2020, was almost doubled…
2021 IPGM has been contributing generously to the functioning of the “Help to the children of Haiti” Orphanage for several years and continues with that endeavor. (2) IPGM has helped a nursing student who had dropped out of school several years ago, due to financial stress after completing her third year. IPGM provided her with needed financial help to resume her studies. Thank God she was able to complete her fourth year and this past December she presented her thesis (Dissertation). She is currently working and assisting her family…Praise God!
(3) During the past five years we have been in partnership with the Philadelphia Foundation of Haiti who has been assisting several young people and their families so that they have been able to send their children to school and feed them. Through that foundation, We have also been able to help reopen a Seventh-day Adventist school that had been closed for at least two years. In that town, where most children are underprivileged, they couldn’t afford to go to school. Many of them are non-Adventist. IPGM has also been providing the monthly salary of $50 for each of the seven teachers. Yes, no need wiping your eyes: you read it right the first time. Benson, a teacher and former youth director within the Haitian Seventh-day Adventist Conference, is the principal. We also provided him with a motorbike to travel to the school from his residence in the city. The school is in a dilapidated state and needs to be renovated. (4). June of 2021 IPGM began paying the monthly fees for a young lady who is training to become a seamstress. She needed a sewing machine. We also contributed for her to purchase a used one as pictured above. (5). A young deacon in a local SDA church who had only a place to lay his head at night and could not find any job.
Everyday he would go to houses of christian brethren in order to have a meal. One day he approached Miss. M, the same person on page one whom we have been sponsoring for the past 5 years. He asked her for financial help to train as a heavy duty truck driver. Miss. M, relayed his request to IPGM who sponsored his six months driving course. He obtained his license and graduated in September 2021. Now he is glowing with appreciative joy, going about in search of a job. He has not found one as of yet but his faith in God is strong. Until then IPGM will be providing at least one meal a day for him… We are greatly encouraged to continue assisting these dear people because over these few years we have been noticing that they have been growing spiritually.
We have also noticed that the little we supply them with; they, in turn, are sharing it with those who would normally go to their beds without eating anything! What should we say then? Do not feed your hungry neighbor next-door? I am sure you will agree when I say that their hearts are in the right place.
There are many others that are being assisted by IPGM and many requests are continuously being made from the impoverished country of Haiti. *We have counted fifteen success stories so far this past year. But we have also encountered some which have not ended pleasantly, such as those three souls we had just learned about, who died from starvation before we had time to intervene. There are other horror stories which you might have heard of as well.
There is loud rumbling which is telling us that Our Honorable King of kings and LORD of lords could be leaving His Father’s Side any day now to come rescue His children. Are you ready for HIM?
Thank you so very much for partnering with us in this ever growing effort to help provide for the basic needs of the youth and children of Haiti! We would not be able to accomplish this without your prayers and financial support. We are only a few weeks into 2022 and genuine requests are flowing in. Let us not stress ourselves out. God will take care of those He brings to our mission door.
Be blessed and be ready for that D-DAY when Jesus comes again!
